Appearance

Tami keeps her brown hair short, with most of it framing her face and the remainder gathered into a bun up top beneath a hair-cloth. Her clothing is a short dress in green and blue worn over shorts, finished with sandals. Growing older, she adopts the cherry-coloured haori worn by everyone on her shop's staff, plus a big dango-shaped clip set in her hair.

History

During Pain's attack on Konoha, Tami is spotted hurrying her grandmother along as the two dash through the streets. The Animal Path summons a huge centipede that starts tearing through the village, and when Tami stumbles while fleeing, the creature fixes on her and her grandmother. Sakura Haruno reaches them just in time, killing the centipede in one strike and healing the girl's scraped knee, then eases her fright with a reminder that Tsunade watches over them. Well beyond the Fourth Shinobi World War, she opens a shop selling sweets, which turns into a regular meeting place where Ino Yamanaka and Sakura Uchiha catch up. Its concealed back room later hosts Sakura Uchiha, Shikamaru Nara, and the Seventh Hokage as they work out how to cure Naruto's illness. Her name, fittingly, carries the meaning people.
