Tarō
CharacterTarō is a Konohagakure genin who, along with his brothers, is deliberately failed by Kakashi Hatake after they miss the point of one of his lessons. Resentful at first, he later understands what their teacher intended and comes to respect him for the harsh call.

Tarō wears his brown hair in a short crop, smooth on one side and spiked on the other, and his eyes are large and dark.

He had no patience for Kakashi's training and bitterly resented being flunked alongside his brother. In time he grasped the reasoning behind the failure and grew to respect his teacher for it.
History
Placed on a squad with his brothers under Kakashi, Tarō is told by his level-headed older brother to go ahead and eat the lunches the instructor has left behind. He obeys to the letter and is failed for it, sent back to the Academy with his siblings. Later, to Kakashi's surprise, the brothers thank him, having worked out the lesson he was trying to impart.
