Teguse (game)

Teguse's ego knows no limit, and he is convinced that everything he builds outclasses the originals.

A brilliant scientist, Teguse designed and refined the Artificial Sharingan, a mechanical eye that mirrors every power of a real Sharingan and even outdoes it in places. He also built the Ninja Heroes game framework that Nanashi Uchiha uses to cast her Tsukuyomi. His talents extend to surgery, letting him graft a pair of his synthetic eyes into Merz.

Once part of the Scientific Ninja Weapons Team, Teguse abandoned the unit, making off with several devices and the sealed records from the Warring States Period. Katasuke Tono reports the thefts, along with a scroll on those wartime seals and a string of cruel experiments, to Naruto and Shikamaru, putting Konoha on alert. Working through the Zero organization, Teguse sows enough chaos to nearly ignite a fifth great war, a plot exposed only when Hinata warns Boruto. Because Boruto, Sarada, Mitsuki, Sasuke, and the others were shielded inside a virtual game by Sasuke's Susanoo when a counterfeit Infinite Tsukuyomi fell, they remain free to act. Sasuke splits them to recover Naruto's memories with Toneri's aid, hunt down Zero's base, and halt Naruto himself. After Merz and Teguse seize Katasuke, Shikadai, and Inojin, Boruto reaches the captives and frees Nanashi Uchiha's mind; Naruto and Sasuke then arrive to rescue the rest. Teguse tries to slip away in defeat but is cut off and subdued by ninja of the Five Great Nations.
