Tsuyu

Jiraiya leaves most of Tsuyu's looks to the reader's imagination, offering only that she is flat-chested and that she wears the standard jonin uniform across the story.

For the most part Tsuyu comes across as gentle and warm, though she flips to something violent and terrifying whenever Naruto indulges his peeping habits. Long ago she pined for her teammate Renge, a one-sided attachment even more lopsided than Naruto's crush on her, and Renge shot her confession down flatly. Those feelings clung on until his betrayal of the village and slide into darkness finally severed them. As the tale goes on, she gradually begins to warm to Naruto in return.

Tsuyu graduated from Shuku Academy at six and joined Team Shū beside Naruto Musasabi and Renge Momoashi under the mentor Shū. Naruto fell for her almost at once, but her eyes were on Renge, and an attempt to peek at her changing into a swimsuit nearly cost him his life. Through the Second Shinobi World War the squad climbed to jonin and saw heavy fighting, once holding firm against the enemy leader Maei Yagyū, who dubbed the trio the Three Ninja of Shuku. As a medic she commands precise chakra control and can mend wounds, wields Wind Release, and unleashes her signature Wind Release: Riot of a Hundred Flowers, a palm strike that scatters a petal-laden gust. She can also call down enormous mythical birds, among them one named Karura. When Renge deserts Shuku and turns rogue after the destruction of Ton Village, she and Naruto are sent to pursue him.
