Yukata is a young kunoichi of Sunagakure who trains beside Matsuri and Mikoshi. Cheerful and often oblivious, she idolises the Kazekage Gaara and takes part in a revived Chunin Exams as well as the Fourth Shinobi World War.
Yukata is a fair-skinned girl whose long, dark hair and large brown eyes, framed by prominent lashes, stand out. In the field she wears the usual Sunagakure gear, a flak jacket over a dark skirt, a pair of arm-guards, and the forehead protector of the Allied Shinobi Forces. For the Chunin Exams she instead sported a grey midriff vest above a short plain top that bared her stomach, keeping the arm-guards and skirt while adding black stockings and a Suna headband.
Like many Suna kunoichi, Yukata adores the current Kazekage, Gaara, and was seen swooning over his rallying speech during the war. She can be rather dense, needing the basics of nature transformation spelled out for her, failing to recognise the Tsuchikage, and missing the point of the written exam entirely. An easygoing, sunny disposition keeps her cheerful even as the genin around her grow frantic over a hard test, and she blithely assumed she and her teammates would make chunin before the exam had even begun.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

Naruto built the transformation jutsu himself, and the Hidden Leaf has been quietly not talking about it ever since. The story behind our 90s R&B record about the Naruko question everybody dodges....
Yukata entered the revived Chunin Exams together with Matsuri and Mikoshi. Split into separate rooms for a written test whose scores had to total exactly one hundred across a team, she could not even work out the questions on her own, yet her team still cleared the round and finished among the first thirty to reach Suna. The second phase unfolded in the Demon Desert, where a sandstorm swept the trio into quicksand until Fu pulled them out; she offered them her scroll, but Yukata went along with her teammates in declining it, following Gaara's example of pushing through hardship. The team was then seized by Hoichi, and Gaara came to their rescue, only to be bound by chakra chains draining his tailed beast. Ordered to flee, the genin chose instead to fetch help; Yukata collapsed along the way and stayed behind with Mikoshi, and the two were later found by Might Guy, Kurenai Yuhi, and Asuma Sarutobi.
She was noted to have some skill with Wind Release, though Temari points out she is no long-distance fighter. In the Fourth Shinobi World War she served in the Fourth Division, gushing over Gaara's speech and later joining other Wind Release users to help subdue the reincarnated Third Raikage, celebrating once Naruto brought him down. She teased Temari about her feelings for a certain Konoha strategist, was present as Madara Uchiha appeared on the field, and finally woke from the Infinite Tsukuyomi after Naruto and Sasuke released it.
