Chasing the mystery of the exploding humans, Sasuke turns to Orochimaru, who leads him to a fighting arena run for the wealthy. The trail toward the arms dealer En Oyashiro forces Sasuke into the ring against one of the man's hired shinobi.
After reporting his own brush with the self-detonating attackers, Sasuke returns to attend a memorial for those killed in the assault. Chino and Nowaki recognize him and press to join his inquiry, with Chino peppering him until Nowaki reins her in. Convinced the exploding humans are the product of a bloodline ability, Sasuke sets his sights on a target named Fūshin and guides the pair to a cave where Yamato keeps watch over Orochimaru. Granted entry, Sasuke learns from Orochimaru that Fūshin does wield a kekkei genkai and once served in the guard of En Oyashiro, a dealer in weapons whose hideout is buried even deeper than Orochimaru's own.
Orochimaru claims he can lure the elusive dealer into the open and offers to travel with Sasuke to an island resort for the rich. The remaining members of Taka arrive, and Karin instantly clashes with Chino over Sasuke. The group boards a boat, shadowed by Yamato, and Orochimaru muses that both he and Sasuke move freely only because they may prove useful against some future threat, though he insists Naruto would never think that way. On the island stands the Coliseum, a fight club where the wealthy pit their employed shinobi against one another.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

Naruto built the transformation jutsu himself, and the Hidden Leaf has been quietly not talking about it ever since. The story behind our 90s R&B record about the Naruko question everybody dodges....
Because En collects bloodline abilities and always appears in disguise, Orochimaru reasons that dangling Sasuke as a prize will draw him out. Chino challenges Sasuke over his refusal to intervene, arguing that bystanders who do nothing share the guilt of the attacker. The announcer presents Futsu, a Boil Release user in En's employ, then names Sasuke as the opponent fighting for Orochimaru. As the bout begins, a spectator collapses at the edge of the stage, and Sasuke reads the telltale signs of another exploding human. The episode belongs to the Sasuke Shinden: Book of Sunrise arc.
