Summary

Tobi cannot fathom how Naruto has managed to memorize a run of difficult names, and Naruto needles him over it, while Guy and Kakashi joke that the boy's rapid progress is starting to make them feel their age. A creeping unease settles over Tobi, which he tries to blame on the gathering rain, until the strange aura radiating from Naruto convinces him the war will leave everything meaningless.

At the Allied Shinobi headquarters, the surge of Kurama's chakra is detected along with something else beneath it, and Ao relays the report to Shikaku. Eager to lift the whole army's spirits in a single stroke, Shikaku presses ahead despite the strain it places on Inoichi's communication network. Answering the call, Naruto's comrades from Konohagakure race toward him to stand at his side, and Sasuke too sets out for the battlefield as a thunderstorm rolls in.
