Episode 346 of Naruto: Shippuden charts Obito's descent after Rin's death. Broken by grief, he becomes Madara's heir, inherits the Eye of the Moon Plan, and sets the founding of Akatsuki in motion.
Reeling from the loss, Obito cuts down the Kiri ninja and steps past the unconscious Kakashi to reach Rin's body. Cradling her, he recalls the words of Madara and White Zetsu and swears to reshape reality into a world where she still lives. Returning to Madara, he accepts the role of apprentice exactly as the old Uchiha foresaw, and Madara uses genjutsu to pass on the legend of the Sage of the Six Paths and the Ten-Tails.
Madara teaches Obito to summon the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path and hands over the whole of his knowledge and skill, then pours his own will into White Zetsu, producing Black Zetsu in the process. Severing himself from the statue, Madara dies, telling Obito to carry his name until the day Nagato, the one who received his transplanted eyes, revives him. Now calling himself Madara Uchiha with the two Zetsu at his side, Obito travels to Amegakure and meets Nagato, Yahiko, and Konan. He dangles his knowledge and his promise to help realize peace, but Yahiko pulls his friends away and warns him off, so Obito vows to return to the same spot each day until Nagato accepts his words. Soon after, having taken in orphans and gained a new companion, Yahiko names their fledgling band Akatsuki.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

Naruto built the transformation jutsu himself, and the Hidden Leaf has been quietly not talking about it ever since. The story behind our 90s R&B record about the Naruko question everybody dodges....
The episode adapts chapters 606 and 607 within the Fourth Shinobi World War: Climax arc, tracing the origin of both Obito's crusade and the Akatsuki organization. A noted animation error shows the unconscious Kakashi wearing a forehead protector he did not have on when Obito arrived.
