Summary

Standing atop a lake in Amegakure, Konan squares off with Tobi. He wants to know what quality in Naruto convinced both her and Nagato to walk away from Akatsuki, and she answers that the boy embodies light and carries within him a bloom named hope. Tobi counters that it was he who steered Yahiko into founding the group and he who granted Nagato the Rinnegan.
