Summary

As Tobi flees the area, Deidara shapes his C4 detonation into a towering copy of himself. The blast disperses a haze of unseeable bombs that reduce anyone who inhales them to nothing. Sasuke seems to perish in the cloud, and Deidara begins to gloat. Instead, Sasuke strikes him from behind, having spotted the tiny explosives with his Sharingan and slipped past them, then cast a genjutsu to fake his own death. The victory proves hollow, however, since the Deidara he cut down turns out to be a clay double, the bomber having recognised the illusion after training for years to break free of Sharingan tricks.
