Summary

Kabuto explains that the fragments of Orochimaru left inside him are forever fighting to seize control, a contest that only leaves him more powerful. He slips away before Naruto's group can seize him, declaring he will happily face Naruto once he has settled the debt to Orochimaru by killing Sasuke.

At the same time, Sasuke launches his attack on Deidara and Tobi. His strike connects with Tobi but passes through without harm. Deidara answers with a barrage of clay bombs, which Sasuke turns aside using his Chidori Senbon. Undeterred, Deidara resolves to bring out his C2 creation.
