Ghosts!! is the eighth chapter of Konoha Shinden: Steam Ninja Scrolls. What begins as Tenten's playful hot-spring prank against Guy curdles into real dread when Mirai suspects an actual spirit was roaming the inn the whole time.
Tenten cooks up a scheme to frighten Guy by throwing on a ghost costume, recruiting Mirai to keep the man occupied while she slips off to prepare. As Guy and Kakashi rally a ping-pong match, Mirai doubts the seasoned jonin could ever be fooled by such a stunt. Her mind wanders to the day she visited her father Asuma's grave after clearing the Chūnin Exams, when she asked Shikamaru whether spirits truly existed. She figured they could not, since otherwise Asuma would surely have shown himself to her by now. Shikamaru offered no firm answer, but he passed along the chakra blades her father once fought with, judging she had earned them, and she swore to honor his memory.
Guy interrupts her memories to ask the score, and Mirai confesses she lost track, which annoys him; Kakashi reports edging the game by a single point, prompting Guy to declare it a tie before the two leave for the bath. Tenten finally springs her costume on Mirai, who barely reacts, having already sensed it was her. Guy is another matter: stepping out of the spring, he is so terrified by the apparition that he cracks his skull against the wall and passes out. Kakashi scolds Tenten for setting a poor example and hauls Guy away.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

Naruto built the transformation jutsu himself, and the Hidden Leaf has been quietly not talking about it ever since. The story behind our 90s R&B record about the Naruko question everybody dodges....
Tenten regrets not pushing the gag further, perhaps by pinning charms around the men's quarters, only for Mirai to admit she had stripped those very talismans off on arrival, worried they might be exploding tags. The wards, it turns out, were the inn's own protection against spirits. Nothing stirs overnight and Tenten heads home the next morning, yet Guy stays rattled, swearing the figure he glimpsed was a blood-soaked warrior in armor gliding through the walls, not Tenten at all. The claim leaves Mirai and the staff shaken, while a well-rested Kakashi simply guides everyone toward their next stop. The chapter runs in volume 2.
In the Ghosts!! chapter of Konoha Shinden: Steam Ninja Scrolls, Tenten stages a ghost prank on Guy using a costume, and Mirai sees through it immediately. Guy insists what actually terrified him was a real blood soaked warrior gliding through the walls, so the chapter leaves open whether a genuine spirit was involved.
Ghosts!! follows Tenten as she plots to scare Guy with a ghost costume while Mirai reflects on whether spirits are real after visiting her father Asuma's grave. The prank works perfectly on Guy, who is so frightened that he knocks himself out, while Mirai remains unfazed since she had already sensed the disguise.
Guy passes out in Ghosts!! after Tenten's ghost costume terrifies him so badly that he cracks his head against the wall stepping out of the hot spring. Kakashi scolds Tenten for the stunt and carries Guy away.
