Chapter 693 sends Naruto after Sasuke to the Valley of the End after Sasuke reveals his plan to erase the tailed beasts, with Sakura silenced by genjutsu and Hagoromo confiding his regrets to Kakashi.
Naruto begs Sasuke to free the tailed beasts that have only now won their release. Even after promising they will never again serve as weapons, Sasuke coldly states that once he ends the Infinite Tsukuyomi he means to wipe out every trace of the beasts, Naruto included, since Naruto now carries pieces of their chakra. Kakashi tries to give chase but is still drained from using the Sharingan.
Sakura makes a last tearful attempt to bring Sasuke home and is cut off by genjutsu. Ignoring Kakashi's words once more, Naruto tells him of the old promise he made to Sakura and sets off. Hagoromo stays with Kakashi and the unconscious Sakura, speaking of his sons Indra and Asura and the guilt he carries for setting today's tragedy in motion.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

Naruto built the transformation jutsu himself, and the Hidden Leaf has been quietly not talking about it ever since. The story behind our 90s R&B record about the Naruko question everybody dodges....
The two rivals reach the Valley of the End. Naruto declares that Sasuke will never be Hokage, echoing what Itachi once told him. Sasuke replies that he knows, but because he wants to spark a revolution, his idea of the title will differ from Naruto's, and he vows to teach Naruto his own meaning of what a Hokage is. A color edition of the chapter shipped with the digital Weekly Shonen Jump 2014 issue 44.
