Summary
Curiosity leads Sakura to ask Chiyo about jinchuriki, the people who carry a tailed beast bound inside them. Chiyo describes how these hosts were created to harness a beast's might, granting them tremendous power that draws Akatsuki's attention. When Sakura asks what becomes of Gaara, or any host, once the beast is torn out, Chiyo answers plainly that they die.
Worried, Sakura turns her thoughts to Naruto, but he brushes off her concern and insists there is nothing to fear. The group presses on toward the enemy's hideout without slowing.
Inside that hideout, Akatsuki finishes drawing Shukaku out of Gaara's body. At the very same moment, Team Guy reaches the entrance from the outside.
