Summary

When Naruto and Kurama's Tailed Beast Ball meets the blasts of the enemy beasts, the clash rockets upward and detonates. Seizing the moment, Naruto grabs the beasts by their throats and sends clones in his early Nine-Tails Chakra Mode to grip the black receivers. While they hold on, his true self slips into the beasts' shared consciousness, where the captured jinchūriki have been waiting, and Yugito greets him gladly.

Key Events

Naruto trades a few words with Yagura, feeling a pang of pity for the former Mizukage who looks even frailer than himself. Fū tells him what became of Son Gokū and Rōshi, and after Utakata and Han offer their thanks, each tailed beast and its host names themselves to Naruto and bumps fists with him in turn. Kurama recalls the parting words of Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki and asks the others whether they, like Son, believe Naruto is the one the Sage foresaw, and they all agree.

Notes

A stunned Tobi seals the beasts back into the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path. He claims nothing has changed given Naruto's worn-out state after Tailed Beast Mode, but Naruto counters that he has at least memorized a pile of difficult names all at once. The chapter closes out the Fourth Shinobi World War: Climax segment.
