Summary

Team Guy forces its way into the Akatsuki hideout, tipping off the organisation to intruders. Elsewhere on the road, Naruto quickens his pace, painfully aware that the window to save Gaara is shrinking. Chiyo takes the moment to ask Kakashi what drives Naruto's fierce dedication to a Kazekage from a rival village. He explains that the two share a fundamental bond: Gaara carries Shukaku just as Naruto carries the Nine-Tails, a kinship that outweighs any village rivalry.

Moved by the answer, Chiyo admits it was her own hand that sealed Shukaku inside Gaara, and she begins to question whether turning the boy into a living weapon for Sunagakure was a grave error. As she reflects, Team 7 finally links up with Team Guy.
