Summary

Convinced that Kobu struck at them, the gathered Mamushi turn furious and resolve to kill him. Koji urges Inojin to drop the Mind Body Switch Technique so he will not share Kobu's fate, but Inojin refuses to let the man die. He slips clear of the Mamushi's strike and tells Koji that failing to protect Kobu would strip him of any claim to being a shinobi. Irritated that Inojin misreads the situation, Koji cancels the mind transfer himself, which upsets the young Yamanaka; even so, Koji orders him to reopen the link and promises to settle things between them afterward.
