Summary

As the recovery squad readies to leave, Shikamaru takes charge and outlines the broad shape of how the mission will unfold. Even amid the urgency, neither the team nor Rock Lee can pick apart his approach. Sakura catches them at the last moment and implores Naruto to return Sasuke home, convinced he alone can still reach him.
