The Real True Face…!!

Bundled with the Fu no Sho databook and set during Part I, the short opens as Team 7 wraps up another forgettable assignment. Once Kakashi dismisses them, Naruto proposes what he dubs an S-rank task: discovering their teacher's face behind the mask. Sakura shrugs it off until Sasuke says he is in, and soon a wandering photojournalist and former Anbu named Sukea offers to help them slip into the Third Hokage's records to read Kakashi's file.

The team locates the personnel record but is seized by Anbu the instant before the profile photo comes into view. Hauled before the Hokage and Kakashi for a scolding, Sukea pins the whole scheme on Team 7. To make amends, he proposes catching Kakashi's face while he eats, and when the usual distractions foil that, he volunteers to photograph the meal from a distance.

Naruto shares lunch with Kakashi, only for Kiba and Akamaru to barge in while Sukea snaps away. Every photo, however, conveniently hides Kakashi's features, convincing the group they were never meant to see it at all.

Sukea takes his leave, and the Kakashi who ate with Naruto quietly dissolves, having been a shadow clone all along. At home, Kakashi peels off the Sukea disguise to reveal his own face, then muses over a shower about how much he enjoys thwarting his students. This is the last of three omake devoted to Kakashi's face, and it later inspired parts of Naruto Shippuden's episode 469. The art mistakenly leaves out his Sharingan on both his registration form and in the bathroom scene.
