The Secret Story of the Strongest Tag Team!!

The chapter picks up inside the Fourth Raikage's recollection. He and his adopted sibling take on a string of assignments as a pair, at one point working alongside a relative of the Raikage. That cousin and the Raikage weigh whether B is suited to carry the Eight-Tails, and the Raikage frets over whether the boy can hold the beast in check. The cousin muses that a jinchuriki, no matter how much they seem to possess, ultimately hungers for whatever can mend the emptiness inside and lend them resolve.

Time passes, and the two brothers stand together at the cousin's burial. The Raikage challenges B to grow strong enough to equal him, and B fires back that he intends to eventually eclipse his brother entirely. When the day comes to seal the Eight-Tails within B, the Raikage warns him that life will not be the same afterward, then knocks fists with him and vows to stand by him whatever unfolds. The memory then jumps to the Raikage's very first confrontation with Minato.

Minato praises B for his courage and urges the Raikage to learn what his younger brother treasures most as a person, doing so before B ceased to be either fully human or simply a jinchuriki. A continuity slip appears when B faces Iwagakure ninja: he is drawn with lengthened hair in one moment, yet his usual short, spiky look returns in the panels right after.
