Chapter 508 of the Naruto manga gives Kisame a final stand. Rather than surrender Akatsuki's secrets, he feeds himself to his own sharks, leaving a booby-trapped scroll behind, while Tobi and Konan face off in the rain of Amegakure.
To wrench himself awake and keep Aoba Yamashiro from pulling Akatsuki intelligence out of his mind, Kisame bites through his own tongue. He raises a sphere of water that walls Guy out, calls three sharks into it, and thinks back on the day he first met Itachi. Weighing his old comrade's words, he lets his sharks devour him before Yamato can intervene.
Witnessing the suicide, Naruto observes that even within Akatsuki there are people who act to shield their friends. Guy declares that Kisame lived and died exactly as a genuine shinobi should and vows never to forget him. Guy then recovers a scroll of the data Kisame had gathered, and though Motoi urges them to read it, opening it springs a trap: a water dome engulfs the group as a shark snatches the scroll and flees with it.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

Naruto built the transformation jutsu himself, and the Hidden Leaf has been quietly not talking about it ever since. The story behind our 90s R&B record about the Naruko question everybody dodges....
Elsewhere in Amegakure, Tobi confronts Konan and demands to know where she has concealed Nagato and the Rinnegan. She answers that she anticipated his arrival and has been waiting to destroy him, and Tobi warns that her former place in Akatsuki will earn her no mercy. Trivia: in Kisame's flashback, Itachi rises without any scratch marring his forehead protector. The chapter runs during the Fourth Shinobi World War: Countdown arc and is collected in volume 54; Viz titles it 'Shinobi Death Style'.
