Unforgivable!!

Jirōbō powers his cursed seal up to its second stage and drives Chōji back. Chōji, having already gulped down a pair of the Three Coloured Pills, is rooted in place and can only look on while Jirōbō polishes off the last of his snacks. His enemy tells him not to take it hard, sneering that a fat boy like him will soon meet death alongside his good-for-nothing squad leader, Shikamaru.

The taunt sends Chōji back to his early years, when other children mocked his size and only Shikamaru refused to join in, looking past his weight to the qualities that mattered and becoming his closest friend from then on. Aware that the final pill means certain death, Chōji swallows the red Chilli Pill without a moment's pause.

Now empowered, Chōji pins Jirōbō with ease and boasts that his strength has multiplied a hundredfold. Insults about his weight or his stolen food, he says, he could shrug off; what he will never pardon is the slur against Shikamaru. He drives his fist into Jirōbō and levels the surrounding ground. The chapter belongs to the Sasuke Recovery Mission arc.
