Appearance

Among giant children Aegir stands at a fairly ordinary height. His face carries round eyes and a round nose beneath a broad forehead, topped by short brown hair spiked upward. For clothing he favors a pale long-sleeved shirt layered under a dark cape, with a belt slung across one shoulder, a kilt, and boots.

Personality

Schooled alongside his peers to reject violence and combat, Aegir holds firmly to that pacifist outlook. Heights frighten him, and he is not above a more lecherous streak, once pressing himself against Gerd's chest while flashing Sanji a smug look. A scare from Luffy left him wary of every member of the Straw Hat Pirates.

History

When the Straw Hats arrived at the Walrus School during the Elbaph Arc, Aegir explained to Luffy, Zoro, and Usopp that rough speech and fighting lessons were now forbidden there. He later joined Luffy, Usopp, and Skaldi on a giant swing, but Luffy's push for ever greater heights terrified Aegir and Skaldi until Gerd calmed them, the moment when Aegir smirked at Sanji from her embrace. Trouble followed when the serpent Jormungandr assaulted the school and nearly devoured him, only for Kiba and Saul to pull him clear. In the aftermath, with the injured teacher Wolf discovered, Aegir greeted Robin and asked whether she was Luffy's friend, then edged well away from her once she confirmed it, still rattled by his earlier ordeal.
