Abilities

As the sworn protectors of the royal house, the Ammo Knights are taken to be formidable, capable of keeping the peace throughout the kingdom. Even so, they could not stand against the New Fish-Man Pirates. Notably, that enemy had to rely on energy steroids to overpower them, which suggests the guards rank above the average fish-man in raw strength.

History

The guards first turn up while the young princes are visiting Mermaid Cove, receiving orders to round up the Straw Hats across the island, a task they fail to complete. At the palace they are later overcome by the same pirates and end up bound alongside Neptune and his ministers. Toward the climax, a number of them are stationed beyond the island and within the control room governing its air tank, where they assist Luffy and the princes in firing a blast of air to push the colossal ship Noah off its collision course.
