Ann is a globe-spanning diva who hails from Tongari Island and wields a Devil Fruit that conjures illusory phantoms. She turns up across the third and fourth One Piece Live Attraction productions as well as the film One Piece: Stampede.
Tightly coiled pale green hair, split for the most part into two sections, frames Ann's freckled face above purple eyes that appear light brown in the Live Attraction artwork. Her top is a frilly white piece with green sleeves that leaves her midriff bare, finished by a necktie modeled after Tokyo Tower. A roomy skirt striped in green and white falls to a hem heavy with black frills, worn over green tights and matched with green heels. Two bows complete the look, each orange on its right half and striped yellow and green on the left, one perched atop her head and the other fixed to the back of her skirt.
Kind but scatterbrained, Ann took to the Straw Hats with ease and was thoughtful enough to offer Luffy a chance to see Ace once more. Her focus wanders readily, and she tends to lose track of the task at hand, performances included, until someone steers her back. Stampede gives her a brighter, more energetic streak as a Pirates Festival announcer, where she roots loudly for Luffy's crew, openly playing favorites, and squabbles with her co-host Donald Moderate over the microphone.
Ann came into the world on Tongari Island and later departed to make her name as a diva. In the Live Attraction Phantom, a homecoming concert of hers kept derailing because the visiting Straw Hats distracted her, until Buggy abducted her to weaponize her phantoms against the crew. Compelled to conjure images of their allies and of Sabo, she was set free when Luffy struck Buggy down, after which she quietly raised a phantom of Ace that turned the fight in Luffy's favor. The Marionette show saw Caesar Clown's gas turn an islander and then Sabo against her, so she ran to the Straw Hats for aid and summoned a Vinsmoke Reiju phantom to clear the toxic gas; once the island was safe, the crew assured her they were friends. Her power stems from a Paramecia-class Devil Fruit, the Bijo Bijo no Mi, which lets her form interactive phantoms of objects, plants, and people by touching pictures.
During Stampede, Donald Moderate brought her on as a guest announcer for the Pirates Festival, where she projected a likeness of Dragon Number Thirteen and cheered the Straw Hats on before the Marines' Buster Call drove her to flee. Brought onto the Revolutionary Army's vessel and wrapped in a coat by Koala, she answered Sabo's request by raising a projection of Ace, whose combined Hiken with Sabo cleared an escape path for Luffy and the rest of the rookies. She then left the Revolutionary Army behind to board the Takoyaki 8 alongside Hatchan, Camie, and Pappag.

When I first decided to commit to watching One Piece seriously, I knew I was embarking on one of anime's longest and most beloved series. With over 100...

The transformation everyone knows, the follow-up question nobody would touch. Why we made a smooth R&B track about the golden glow Dragon Ball never talks about....
