Bandsman

Lean of build, Bandsman keeps a perpetually tipsy, glassy-eyed look about him. His hair runs a dark brown shade, and his lips stand out as a notable feature of his face. For attire he favors matching white pieces: an open-collared shirt worn beneath a suit jacket of the same pale color.

Cheerful by nature, Bandsman is the sort who happily drinks himself into a stupor among his companions. That fondness for liquor clouds his judgment, and in his intoxicated haze he loses any sense of how to behave around someone as dangerous as Gild Tesoro. After mocking Monkey D. Luffy's ambition to become Pirate King with fits of laughter, the gravity of having insulted his boss finally lands, and he switches instantly to terrified begging.

During a celebration aboard Gran Tesoro, a thoroughly drunk Bandsman was carousing with friends when he caught snatches of Tesoro and Carina discussing the Straw Hat Pirates. Unable to hold his tongue, he loudly dismissed Luffy's dream as absurd and burst into wild laughter. Tesoro, displeased at the unsanctioned outburst, demanded to know what was so funny. As the panicked musician tried to flee while stammering apologies, Tesoro flung one of his gold rings, which sealed Bandsman in gold. He then poured molten gold from a chandelier over the man's head, and it hardened across his face while Tesoro laughed at the squirming victim and the surrounding crowd looked on in horror.
