Bearman

Bearman takes the form of a towering, green-furred bear that walks upright, his human head tucked away inside a blank, button-eyed bear muzzle that only becomes visible when the jaws part. The fur along his front runs a shade paler, and a short, bushy bear tail sits on his back. His outfit layers a detached white fur collar, pink spiked pauldrons rimmed with yellow fur, and brownish-orange leather belts crossed over his torso and connected to the shoulder guards. Baggy blue-purple trousers, flanked by pink cloth flaps and cinched with a distinctive gold-buckled turquoise belt, tuck into plain dark boots.

A streak of gluttony defines Bearman, who treats the chance to claim all the Udon prisoners' dango as ample reason to crush an opponent. He caps his sentences with the verbal tic '-bear,' and his voice shifts dramatically with his mouth: high-pitched while the bear jaws stay shut, but hoarse, deeper, and more menacing once they open to reveal his human face.

Through the Bear SMILE he consumed, Bearman permanently took on a bear's traits, chiefly raw physical power. On offense he extends claws that, as Hyougoro observes, can slice a human body apart. On defense he proved sturdy enough to absorb a flurry of Luffy's ordinary, non-Armament punches without flinching, drawing the Straw Hat's own remark on his toughness.

He surfaced at the Udon mine to face Luffy in Queen's Sumo Inferno, after Batman and Gazelleman had already fallen. Boasting of the dango he stood to win, he lunged with paw strikes, but Luffy slipped past and pounded his gut to no effect, prompting Luffy to note that Kaidou was tougher still. A single Haki-infused blow to the abdomen then dropped Bearman and knocked him out cold.
