Appearance

Bolt is missing its left wing entirely, with a scar marking the spot where it once was. The plumage runs through a range of colors: red crowns the head, giving way to green, while yellow feathers sit beneath the head and green covers most of the lower body. Its tail finishes in red, the beak blends yellow and orange, and the talons are orange. The remaining wing is yellow. Despite carrying the parrot label, the bird looks more like a parakeet.

Little has been established about how Bolt behaves, though the bird visibly reacted with alarm at the moment Secon Island was destroyed.

History

Long ago Bolt was the companion of a pirate. That owner met his death, and around the same time the bird lost its left wing, after which Mobston took it in.

When the Straw Hat Pirates wrecked near Dock Island, Mobston and his grandchildren took them in and helped while the Thousand Sunny underwent repairs, with Bolt among those pitching in on the work. The group later looked on as Secon Island exploded, all of them praying the pirates had survived. Once the crew came back to return the equipment they had borrowed, Bolt and the others gathered to bid them farewell.
