What sets Mascarpone apart at a glance is his elongated neck, a trait of his Snakeneck heritage that stretches far past human proportion and is ringed by an ornamental golden hoop. He stands tall, with a youthful build, sun-darkened skin, and a head of curling navy hair. His outfit pairs a white tunic with a pink cape, green bands on his arms, and sandals styled after a gladiator's.

Devotion to his relatives and crewmates defines him, in keeping with his standing as a high officer of Big Mom's fleet. A cruel streak runs underneath, however. He relished launching burning arrows at the Thousand Sunny and grinned while Katakuri ground Luffy into the floor. That bravado evaporates under pressure, and both he and his twin Joscarpone shrieked in panic when Luffy suddenly charged at them.

Mascarpone enlisted in Big Mom's furious war party after Cracker fell to Luffy, eager to settle the score for his older brother. He and Joscarpone jeered at the captured Luffy and Nami, then reacted with alarm on learning that Lola's Vivre Card had surfaced. Later, stationed within the Mirro-World, the pair guided Brûlée to a mirror opening onto the Sunny, narrowly slipped a punch from Luffy, and fired flaming arrows through the glass in a bid to torch the ship. They were puzzled afterward when the mirrors linked to the vessel began shattering one by one. The anime expands his role with the wedding tea party, where he was horrified by Brook wrecking Carmel's portrait, decapitated Brook to no lasting effect, and later clashed with Vinsmoke Judge and Reiju.
