Drim is a small non-canon boy who serves as the antagonist of the Ocean's Dream storyline and its tie-in games. His memory-stealing menace is actually the work of Noko, a seahorse that puppets him, and once freed he turns out to be a frightened child.
Short and youthful, Drim is recognized by his sleepy, drooping eyes and his lavender hair. Perched on his head sits a curious yellow hat ringed with teal bands, shaped rather like an upturned bowl or vase. His outfit pairs a purple shirt, its sleeves pushed partway up, with a deep purple cape, while pale brown shorts, dark boots, and short legs round out the look.
Very little of Drim's true nature is ever shown, since the boy spends most of his screen time acting under the seahorse Noko's hypnosis. In that state he comes across as sly and scheming, greeting his targets with a deceptively warm manner before robbing them of their recollections. The moment Noko's hold breaks, a completely different child surfaces: timid, easily frightened, blank on everything he did while controlled, and devoted to his mother, whom he hurries home to find.
In the original game scenario, the Straw Hats run into Drim and Noko mid-battle against a rival crew, and the pair instantly drop the entire crew unconscious. The pirates wake stranded with the Going Merry on an unknown island, stripped of any memory of their identities or skills. Within the anime arc he is shown repeatedly draining the memories of locals and passing travelers under Noko's compulsion. Once the seahorse loses control, Drim panics at finding himself ringed by the Straw Hats in the forest and bolts back to his village, convinced the pirates caused the whole ordeal. He surfaces again only as a background face glancing at a flyer during the Pirates Festival in One Piece: Stampede. In the source games his given name simply matches whatever the player typed for their save file; the anime is what settles on Drim.

When I first decided to commit to watching One Piece seriously, I knew I was embarking on one of anime's longest and most beloved series. With over 100...

The transformation everyone knows, the follow-up question nobody would touch. Why we made a smooth R&B track about the golden glow Dragon Ball never talks about....
Drim is a small non-canon boy who antagonizes the Straw Hats in the Ocean's Dream storyline. His memory-stealing power actually comes from a seahorse named Noko, who secretly controls his body.
Yes, Drim's story is told through the anime-exclusive Ocean's Dream arc, a non-canon storyline built around the video game One Piece: Ocean's Dream! that is not part of Eiichiro Oda's manga.
Noko is a seahorse who hypnotizes Drim and controls his body, using him to steal the memories of local villagers and passing travelers until her hold over him breaks.
Once freed from Noko's hypnosis, Drim becomes a frightened, timid child who remembers nothing of what he did while controlled and rushes home to find his mother.
Under Noko's control, Drim and the seahorse knock out the entire Straw Hat crew and strand them with the Going Merry on an unknown island, wiping away their memories of their own identities and skills.
