Dwanger is a non-canon wandering doctor from the video game One Piece Odyssey who is convinced that anger itself is a cure. Carrying a bounty, he roams about deliberately provoking people in the belief that rage will heal them.
Dwanger is a hefty, bald man sporting a slender mustache. His outfit consists of a pink shirt decorated with purple patterns, layered under a purple vest.
For combat Dwanger relies on a lone pistol. He carries a bounty on his head, though the Straw Hats put him down without much trouble when they came after it.
Dwanger grew up on Drum Island and trained there as a physician, only to be driven out of the country during Wapol's Doctor Hunt. Gravely ill at the time, he abandoned medicine, then watched his sickness vanish as if by miracle. Crediting the recovery to the fury he felt toward Wapol, he reinvented himself as a traveling doctor whose treatment is to enrage his patients in hopes of curing them. While he was at Water 7, his wanted poster circulated across the island and reached the Straw Hat Pirates, who hunted him down, beat him quickly, and handed him over to Margin to collect the reward.
