Eliza (World Seeker)

Heavyset in build, Eliza keeps her light green hair fastened back in a ponytail. Small sunglasses rest across her eyes, oversized brown earrings hang at her ears, and bold lipstick colors her mouth. Her clothing consists of a white blouse layered under a pink vest, finished with a white sunhat wrapped by a pink band.

Eliza champions Marine control of Jail Island so firmly that, in her view, mixing with Anti-Marine neighbors amounts to a ruinous error. Her grip on her son runs deep: she steers him clear of Anti-Marine households and even pushes a marriage of her own choosing on him. With time, however, she grows able to speak calmly with the opposing side and loosens her hold on Jackie, although traces of her reluctance remain.

Eliza objected fiercely once her son Jackie took up with Emma, a girl from an Anti-Marine household, going so far as to arrange a different match for him. She later came across a note explaining that the pair meant to slip away to another island and wed, which set off a quarrel with Will, Emma's father, each parent faulting the other's child. The young couple turned up again, this time alongside Monkey D. Luffy and Jeanne, whereupon the two parents discovered the kids had fallen into pirate hands.

Both adults seized on that scare to justify keeping the romance apart, until Jackie pushed back, telling them their domineering ways were no better than pirates seeking to enslave people. Urged by Luffy and Jeanne to put their children ahead of their feuding and to settle matters through talk, Eliza relented and blessed the relationship after seeing how content her son was. The families afterward met at Konko Plaza for another exchange with Luffy.
