Jackie

Sharply dressed and of ordinary build, Jackie sports short blue hair and a small goatee. His outfit centers on a yellow suit jacket layered over a green vest with a red kerchief, with matching yellow trousers and a tall top hat. Brown boots round out the ensemble.

Jackie has a firm will, set on staying with Emma and indifferent to the Pro-Marine and Anti-Marine rift dividing their households. He stood up to his controlling mother without flinching, telling her that life under her thumb felt no better than captivity under pirates. A naive streak shows too, since he wandered into a pirate-filled harbor and got himself caught.

While out in Steel City with Emma, Jackie crossed paths with Monkey D. Luffy, unaware the stranger captained the Straw Hats, and pointed him toward the prison warden Isaac. When his Pro-Marine mother Eliza moved to marry him off to another woman, he and Emma plotted to flee Jail Island and elope, only to be seized by pirates at the Kogyoku Village harbor and held for enslavement before Luffy freed them. With the help of Luffy and Jeanne, the couple eventually softened both Eliza and Emma's father Will, winning acceptance for their relationship. Later, near Konko Plaza, Jackie placed himself between Emma and a wave of Marine robots until Luffy arrived to drive the machines off.
