Faust

Faust is a cat mink whose fur reads light in color, appearing black both in the anime and across the pre-timeskip digitally colored manga, then tan in later printings. A wide thin mouth and yellow eyes define the face. The outfit consists of a long dark-blue cloak over a red-and-white striped shirt, a green sash at the waist, and purple trousers, finished off with brown shoes, a white ruff, and a cross pendant.

Faust generally keeps a composed, unreadable look, betraying little emotion across appearances.

Born somewhere in North Blue, Faust crossed paths with Basil Hawkins at an unspecified time before the main story and signed on with the Hawkins Pirates. At the Sabaody Archipelago the mink watched the captain trade blows with Admiral Kizaru and came through unharmed as Urouge and a Pacifista joined the fray. After the great war, Faust stood on the ship's deck while Hawkins discussed Luffy's odds of survival, and later took position beside him at Foodvalten ahead of a clash with the Brownbeard Pirates.

During the Dressrosa period Faust celebrated the new alliance with the Kid and On Air Pirates, only to be flung back when Kaidou crashed down from a sky island. As a mink, Faust is a natural-born fighter capable of Electro and can enter the Sulong state under a full moon, though the magician's true strength stays undisclosed.
