Forliewbs

Heavyset and crowned with a piece bearing spiral, horn-shaped ornaments, Forliewbs has a flat rectangular nose dominating his face. A scar marks the skin beneath his left eye, and he sports facial hair. His wardrobe runs to purple: a long-sleeved shirt layered under a shawl draped over his shoulders, paired with pale trousers, an ascot at the throat, and a sash crossing his right side.

Little has been disclosed about the captain beyond his fierce devotion to Whitebeard, a loyalty strong enough that he gladly gambled his life to free Ace. Obstacles do not faze him either. He pressed his assault on Marineford even after the ice beneath his feet was melted away, refusing to retreat in the face of the entire naval headquarters.

Forliewbs built a fearsome name for himself across the New World over the years and pledged himself to Whitebeard as one of the subordinate captains in his fleet. When word spread that Ace faced execution at Marineford, he and his crew threw in with the Whitebeard Pirates. The defending Marines expected the assault, yet the allied force of forty-three captains still blindsided them by materializing without warning just off the shoreline.

After the siege wall went up and Akainu turned the frozen sea to slag with his magma, Forliewbs climbed aboard Whitebeard's concealed vessel and reached the plaza thanks to Little Oars Jr., leaping from the paddle ship ready to keep fighting for Ace. He stepped back from the conflict once Shanks appeared to bring the war to its end.
