Summary

Luffy fires up Gear Second for a straight run at Ace, but Kizaru overtakes him at once and boots him aside at light speed. As the guards move to behead Ace, an unseen force flings them away, revealed to be Crocodile, who acts solely to rob the Marines of their triumph. Doflamingo shears off the sandman's head from behind, mocking him for siding with Whitebeard, yet Crocodile simply rejoins it and turns on him, denying any partnership. Elsewhere Aokiji impales Luffy with an ice saber until Marco knocks the admiral clear. In the bay a coated ship breaks the surface so the stranded pirates can board, and Little Oars Jr. hoists it through his gap before cannon fire drops him again.

Notes

Whitebeard springs a trap by revealing he never claimed every one of his vessels had risen, holding the coated ship in reserve. Only the admirals, a handful of vice admirals, and those on the podium remain standing as the Whitebeard Pirates ready their final charge for Ace. The chapter opens on a color spread of the whole Straw Hat crew lounging beside a stream with cola.
