Furrari

Furrari is a short, stout old man with a broad face defined by high cheekbones and a large, prominent nose, his small black eyes looking modest against those heavier features. Thick wavy locks of pale blond hair spill past his shoulders, and a matching mustache fans out in heavy tufts. He favors a crisply cut dark suit over a white shirt, accented by a red-and-gold bolo tie with three round ornaments and a sunburst brooch on the lapel. A black fedora with a gray band, its crown shaped like a tiny castle, completes the outfit, and a cigar is usually wedged in his mouth.

The anime gives him two alternate palettes. One swaps his suit for a soft tan, blackens his tie and hat, tints his hair with silver-blue, and adds a stitch scar to his chin. The other dresses him in a tan coat over a lavender vest and pale shirt, fastened by a sky-blue and orange clasp, with a string of red beads at his neck and the castle topping restored to his hat.

Like a great many onlookers, Furrari was smitten with the beauty of the mermaid princess Shirahoshi. Seeing how kings such as Jeep angled to marry their heirs to her, he likewise tried to present Tritobu as a match. His vanity bruises easily, and he flew into anger when he learned she had turned down every suitor, his own included. He also tends toward argument and confrontation, most plainly when he traded barbs with King Ramen of Kano Country.

At the Levely's Socializing Plaza, Furrari saw Jeep working to pair his son Wheel with Shirahoshi and cut in to put his own boy forward as well. The princess refused all of them, which left Jeep complaining of embarrassment and forced Fukaboshi to scramble to soothe the wounded royal pride before things grew worse. Once the council convened, Furrari took a seat beside Mororon.

Garp later recounted the gathering to Neptune, noting that Furrari fell into a dispute with Ramen, while Chap and Sauce stirred the quarrel along from the edges. By Garp's account, Furrari's realm is comparatively small and tends to defer to larger powers such as Chap's. The anime tweaked the retelling, briefly depicting Chap quietly applying pressure during the clash with Ramen.
