Gazelleman is a Gifter serving the Beasts Pirates whose artificial Devil Fruit gave him the swift legs of a gazelle. After the child Tama brought him under her control, this self-styled speedster switched sides and helped sway his fellow Gifters toward the alliance opposing Kaidou.
Towering and heavily built, Gazelleman cuts an imposing figure with broad shoulders, a barrel chest, a thick neck, plus a blocky jaw. His clothing fits snugly against him, marked across the front by a pale stylized letter that reads as a G whose tail curls into a z, paired with long sleeves crossed by a single darker stripe. The look is finished with light gloves, the standard Gifter cape and hood, and fishnet wrappings drawn over the gazelle limbs the SMILE fruit granted him.
Gazelleman comes across as upbeat, especially when boasting about how fast he is, yet he shows not a flicker of guilt over kidnapping a child. Once Tama bent him to her will with the Kibi Kibi no Mi, his disposition flipped to devotion, and he loyally helped her win over the remaining Gifters for the alliance. Like a number of One Piece figures, he sports a signature cackle, a rolling Hohohoho, and he proudly compared himself to Idaten, the fleet-footed deity invoked for swift runners.
His power springs from a Gazelle SMILE, an artificial Zoan that reshapes his legs into a gazelle's and lets him tear along at great speed; he brags of covering two hundred kilometers within an hour, though his stamina lags far behind and leaves him winded after a long dash. Assigned alongside Batman to hunt down thieves, Gazelleman crossed paths with Tama, who was traveling alongside Luffy, Zoro, Tsuru, and Kikunojo, at Okobore Town. As his partner loosed arrows over insults aimed at Shogun Orochi, Gazelleman snatched Tama and sprinted off, letting Holed'em know he had seized the child responsible for taming their baboon Hihimaru, then delivered her as ordered but slumped exhausted afterward. Before the Fire Festival he stood with Holed'em against Okobore Town's residents over stolen produce. By then Tama had tamed him, and during the festival he sailed to Onigashima aboard Speed's ship with Speed and Daifugo, the trio handing out Tama's dango to flip more Gifters. In a non-canon Udon episode, he and Batman were the first Gifters to challenge Luffy in the Sumo Inferno, and lost; the anime also gave him a spinning aerial kick, which Luffy blocked with one arm.

When I first decided to commit to watching One Piece seriously, I knew I was embarking on one of anime's longest and most beloved series. With over 100...

The transformation everyone knows, the follow-up question nobody would touch. Why we made a smooth R&B track about the golden glow Dragon Ball never talks about....
