Graydle is a Marine Vice Admiral who serves as the chief antagonist of a One Piece Dramatic Stage production, the installment subtitled Marineford of Remembrance and billed as THE METAL. Maimed during the Summit War, he wields the metal-manipulating Meta Meta no Mi and pursues Luffy out of vengeance.
Graydle is an older man whose gray hair is matched by a scar running across his left eye and a golden metal guard over his mouth. For clothing he wears a white suit marked with a light blue cross, four gold buttons, a zipper, and a belt, below which sit air-superiority-blue trousers and boots fastened by three buckles apiece. His standard Marine cloak conceals a pair of golden metal shoulder pads linked by a gold chain across his chest. In place of his left arm, lost in battle, he carries a limb shaped from the powers of his Devil Fruit.
Vengeance defines him. He blames Luffy for the wound he suffered at Marineford's Summit War, and that resentment has hardened into a single-minded plan to seize the young pirate.
Holding the rank of Vice Admiral places him in command of lower Marines, gives him a hand in ordering Buster Calls alongside his peers, and puts an enormous Pacifista at his disposal. As with all officers of that grade, Haki is within his reach. He has also eaten the Meta Meta no Mi, classed as a Devil Fruit of unknown type, which grants him mastery over liquid metal, the very power that supplies his artificial arm.
Graydle was present for the fighting at Marineford's Summit War, and the wound that cost him his left arm there left him bitter toward both Luffy and the Whitebeard Pirates, vowing payback. Once the Straw Hats reached his island, he rigged a trap meant for Luffy, shaping metal copies of Zoro and Sanji to battle the crew while chasing them down with his Pacifista and underlings. When he lunged at Luffy, Bartolomeo leapt between them, mirroring the moment Ace had once guarded Luffy against Akainu. Their final exchange ended when Luffy brought him down with his King Kong Gun.
