Guard is a Marine Commodore from the video game One Piece Odyssey, posted to defend the Tower of Justice on Enies Lobby. Armed with a mounted flamethrower and a supply of bombs, he stands between intruders and the heart of the judicial island.
Bald and heavily built, Guard cuts an imposing figure with his broad chin and dense brows. He turns out in the standard Marine uniform topped by a coat, and aviator-style shades sit over his eyes.
A fierce temperament defines him, and his composure holds firm, refusing to crack even when an opponent ambushes him without warning.
Within One Piece Odyssey, Guard held a post inside the Tower of Justice on Enies Lobby, operating a flamethrower. His rank as Commodore placed every lower Marine under his command, and beyond the mounted flamethrower he lobs small explosives at his foes. When the Straw Hats pushed up through the tower, he drove them back with gouts of flame, until Chopper crept through the ventilation and struck him from the rear, dropping him in short order.
In the Reunion of Memories storyline, a recreated Enies Lobby staged the Whitebeard Pirates' assault, where Guard waited alongside Week and Gage beyond Barricade's ambush. As Whitebeard reached the Marine Admiral, the three tried to stall him and the Straw Hats, but were swiftly overcome. Promotional material for the game once mislabeled his rank as Rear Admiral rather than Commodore.
