Abilities

Speed defines him. As one of the swiftest sprinters anywhere in the Arabasta Kingdom, Ivan X owes his pace to his Super-Spot Billed breeding and his rigorous duck-troop conditioning. He is trained to bear riders and thrives in the punishing desert climate. In a fight he turns his size and velocity into a weapon, hurling his whole frame forward as a battering headbutt. He twice plowed straight through the agent Bentham during the chaos at Alubarna.

History

When Karoo retrieved the duck troops and led them to the Straw Hats, the pirates mounted up and dashed toward Alubarna under cloaks to throw off Baroque Works. Ivan X bore Matsuge, then broke from the group to slam into Bentham, launching him skyward. Running through the city's Southwest Gate beside Bourbon Jr., the two ducks later fetched Sanji for help. He returned to ram Bentham again while protecting Vivi and Karoo, then carried Karoo to safety on Vivi's request. After the rebellion settled and rain fell, the troops regrouped and ferried the recovered crew back to the Going Merry, with Luffy riding Ivan X. He later joined the troops at Ukkari Hot-Spring Island.
