Jeet is a criminal and former bounty hunter who, with his partner Abdullah, entered the Corrida Colosseum to win the Mera Mera no Mi. He became an ally of Luffy at Dressrosa and later joined the Ideo Pirates under the Straw Hat Grand Fleet.
A scar runs down the left side of Jeet's face, and his dark hair is tucked beneath a pale turban. He sports a pinstriped shirt with a dark beaded necklace around his neck, and he is most often pictured running his tongue along his blade with a bloodthirsty grin.
Jeet shares his partner Abdullah's merciless streak, and the two once bombed a government institution, a sign of their fierce grudge against the World Government. For all that ruthlessness, he holds a firm sense of loyalty, standing as one of the few Colosseum fighters who refused to turn on Usopp despite the enormous bounty Doflamingo placed on the sniper's head, even rounding on those who tried to collect it. He further proved that devotion by charging Doflamingo head-on to shield his new ally, undeterred by the warlord's fearsome power.
His role in bombing a government facility and his standing as a noted Colosseum entrant both point to real fighting strength. Jeet and Abdullah rely on a tandem style: the larger, louder Abdullah confronts foes directly with his long-reaching tridents while the smaller, swifter Jeet strikes from behind by surprise, wielding twin sabers. Once bounty hunters, the pair turned to crime after the bombing, and they had earlier failed in an attempt to capture Bartholomew Kuma for his bounty. At Dressrosa they entered the Corrida Colosseum's B Block, picking off gladiators with their ambush tactics until Bellamy brutally defeated them. Thrown into the underground dungeon and transformed into toys by the Hobi Hobi no Mi, they were restored when Sugar fell unconscious and joined the freed slaves in hailing Usopp as their savior. They then allied with Luffy, Zoro, and Law to topple Doflamingo, battling Pica and an Ito clone along the way and helping hold back the Birdcage. Afterward they revealed they had joined Ideo's XXX Gym Martial Arts Alliance, which pledged itself to the new Straw Hat Grand Fleet. The group later parted from the Straw Hats, fought through quarrels between the Longarm and Longleg tribes, and ultimately reformed into a pirate crew, the Ideo Pirates.
