Jigoku Benten

Benten is a tall, fair woman with large green eyes, long lashes, and purple hair styled into a bow and decorated with white skulls, a heart, and yellow combs. She paints her lips pink and her nails red, drapes herself in a green and pale-blue patterned kimono with a floating white sash and a pink bow at the waist, and wears dangling silver earrings. A biwa is almost always in her hands.

Calm and stoic by habit, she rarely betrays emotion, though she let slip a flash of concern when Nico Robin slipped away from the Oniwabanshu's ambush using a clone.

Like her fellow ninja, Benten moves in perfect silence, letting the group steal up on Robin unnoticed. Her real trick is a firearm concealed within her biwa, which she discharges by plucking the instrument's strings, a specialty she dubs Silent Gun. Her signature move, Ninpo: Jigoku Biwa, plays the lute to loose a swift volley of shots, first aimed at Roronoa Zoro, though the technique leans on the hidden weapon rather than any mystical art. She accompanied Orochi to Onigashima, raised no protest when Fukurokuju bound the Oniwabanshu to Kaidou, and later fought the alliance and the Ice Oni infected during the raid.
