Appearance

Robin stands tall on a slim frame, her black hair cut in a shoulder-length hime style above wide, dark pupils and a long, finely drawn nose. The manga tints her eyes brown while the anime makes them cerulean and her tan deeper. She resembles her mother Olvia almost exactly, parting ways only in hair and skin color. Unusually long legs feed both her stature and the reach of her replicated-body technique.

She carries no fixed signature look, though the violet cowgirl rig from her Arabasta introduction comes nearest to one, built from a corset, matching miniskirt, a fur-edged coat, and a pale cowboy hat. Dark tones, leather, and revealing cuts recur in her wardrobe, worn over high heels that never cost her any speed. The arcs cycled her through Skypiea beachwear, casual clothes after Kuzan iced her, leather dresses at Water 7 and Enies Lobby, and Galley-La merchandise afterward.

Two years of training left her hair grown past the lower back and her curves more pronounced, while her height stayed at 188 cm, ranking her fourth tallest aboard. Her returning costume joins a long salmon sarong to a half-zipped vest stamped with her Devil Fruit's bloom, topped by orange-tinted sunglasses parked on her brow. Later came a Wano geisha kimono, kunoichi robes, an Egghead leather jacket, and at last Viking garb from Gerd on Elbaph, where she trimmed her hair back toward its younger form.

History

Olvia's daughter was raised among the archaeologists of the West Blue island Ohara. Swallowing the Hana Hana no Mi in childhood gave her the power to bloom copies of her limbs, or her entire self, across any surface she picks. She walked away as the lone survivor when the World Government razed Ohara, which left only her and one other living soul able to translate the script of the Poneglyphs, a craft the regime treats as outlawed and dangerous.

Under the cover name Miss All Sunday, she ranked as second-in-command and top field leader of Baroque Works, paired directly with its founder, the ex-Warlord Crocodile, who answered to the codename Mr. 0. She filled the secondary villain's role across the Arabasta storyline before switching sides to enlist with Luffy's crew as that arc ended. Counted as the seventh aboard and the sixth to sign on, she briefly departed during Water 7 and came back once the crew tore through Enies Lobby to retrieve her.

At eight years old she drew a 79,000,000-berry bounty, pinned on her for the Poneglyph-reading gift after Ohara burned. The number rose to 80,000,000 once the Straw Hats freed her from Enies Lobby, hit 130,000,000 in the aftermath of Dressrosa, and climbed to 930,000,000 following the Onigashima raid. Her enduring aim is to locate the Rio Poneglyph, the stone that records the world's concealed past and the riddles of the Void Century.

Abilities

Robin fights through the Hana Hana no Mi, a Paramecia power that sprouts duplicates of any part of her body across the surfaces around her, letting her pin enemies, scout terrain, and deliver crushing holds. Her long legs sharpen the effect, since each sprouted limb keeps the proportions of the original. Training in Fish-Man Karate widened the ways she can channel it.

Her rarest asset, though, is learning rather than force. Schooled on Ohara, she deciphers the ancient lettering carved into Poneglyphs, an ability shared by no more than one other living person. That expertise puts her at the heart of the crew's search through history and keeps the World Government hunting her, since it regards the skill as a standing menace to its rule.
