Jose

Jose has a stout, rounded body and a nose so wide its nostrils could pass for sunglasses, all but swallowing his tiny eyes beneath them. His lips are notably thick and his brown hair short. He dresses in a green matador outfit edged and buttoned in gold, with a darker green dress shirt underneath, a pale green tie, and shoes in green and grey.

Jose carries a cocky streak, happy to boast about Carmen's talents in the kitchen. He is also frank to a fault, openly correcting his master when she claimed to have hunted for Sanji across ten years, when the search had in truth lasted only ten days.

Studying under Carmen, Jose presumably holds at least respectable cooking skill. He totes a red flag he waves to throw people off, along with a polearm-like implement topped by an egg-beater, though whether he can actually fight with it remains unknown.

When Carmen blocked Sanji's path, Jose and Leo stepped up to introduce themselves and their teacher, then displayed photos of famous East Blue cooks at her request. After Jose blurted out the real length of the search and earned a frying pan to the face, the two recovered and hauled off Carmen once she fainted from spinning herself dizzy. Through the contest the pair flanked her, shooed Sanji away from kissing her hand, and tried to break his focus with a dance that he simply ignored. When Carmen finally conceded, the two looked on as she promised Sanji a rematch.
