Kochi
CharacterKochi is a non-canon royal guard of the Arabasta Kingdom who features in the game One Piece Odyssey. A devoted servant of the crown, he spends much of his appearance trying, and failing, to whip a stubborn camel into shape.
Appearance
Built to an average frame, Kochi wears a blond beard and is outfitted in the standard regalia of Arabasta's royal guardsmen.
Personality
Duty defines him. He held his post as a royal guard straight through the kingdom's civil war and stayed in the government's employ once the fighting ended. His sense of responsibility extended to trying to mold Matsuge into a recruit for the Super Spot-Billed Duck Troops, though the effort wore his patience thin in a hurry.
History
Within the distorted Hysteria rendition of Nanohana, Kochi searched in vain for Matsuge, unaware both of the camel's hiding place near the western harbor and of the poisoning plot hatched by Anikin and Otogin.
Over in Alubarna, he again tried to put Matsuge to work as a freshly enlisted member of the Duck Troops. Frustration got the better of him and he started shouting at the camel, at which point the Straw Hat Pirates wandered over. Once he laid out the problem, Sanji purchased perfume and lotion meant for Nami and Robin, a gift that delighted Matsuge enough to get him cooperating again.
