Marine X

Built with broad muscle and fair skin, Marine X keeps his blonde hair cropped short. His face carries small pupils, slim black eyebrows, and a wide cheerful grin. The standard issue Marine outfit he wears has its sleeves pushed up, and rather than the usual blue neckerchief, a green one sits at his collar.

Loyalty to the Marines defines him, and he faces Monkey D. Luffy without any doubt about his own skill. His ambition is sharply focused: he longs to be ranked the greatest shooter anywhere in the world. He came up alongside two childhood companions, Morgan and Fullbody, and the trio enlisted in the Marines as a group.

The Marines single out his rare marksmanship early and groom him quietly as one of their elite, treating him as a rising star within the ranks. His combat numbers climb whenever he stands beside Morgan and Fullbody. He fights with both arms full of firepower at once, gripping a flintlock pistol on the left while balancing a shoulder-mounted bazooka with the right that launches cannonballs and bombs. His named attacks include Mortar, a piercing cannon shot; Artillery, an oversized round that flings and stuns foes; Incendiary, bombs that spread a three-second blaze; and Fire Bombing, a shell that either devastates on direct contact or erupts into lingering flame across an area when fired from a distance. During One Piece King Battle, posted at Shells Town under Morgan, he confronts Luffy when the pirate raids the base for Zoro's swords. Luffy beats him, and after Zoro is freed Marine X challenges the swordsman too, losing a second time before the pair bring down his commanding officer.
