Personality

Confidence runs high in Yoro, who never stops billing himself as the group's combatant. Utterly blind to his own frailty, he truly believes he is a mighty fighter. He professes to wield Three Sword Style, yet the three blades he carries are vegetables, and nothing in his fighting ever backs up the boast.

History

Asleep within the gacha machine on Gacha Gacha Island, Yoro stayed dormant until Chinpy and Kusopp drew him. He came to only once the scuffle among the rival Zoro knockoffs had finished, and as the last one upright he received an offer to come aboard. Declaring that he answered only to the strong, he dared Chinpy to a fight, was beaten in moments, and joined up. When hunger later struck the starving crew, Chinpy's fortune-telling steered them to a small house that served as a restaurant, home to Sasoz. Taking the recruitment as a bid to study under him, Sasoz insisted they each prepare a dish to earn his approval. Yoro's effort delighted him, but tasting the cook's own dish made Yoro spit up blood and faint at how vile it was, after which he sailed off with the rest.

Reaching the Boin Archipelago, he was quickly trounced by a muscular figure resembling an elderly man with a carrot sprouting from atop his head. The crew later fled a Marine and took on Chiyobbaba; Yoro complimented her for watching over the captain, a distraction that made her lose sight of him and landed everyone under arrest for public indecency. The pirates were handed off among several Marines, traveled on, and finally met Yamada Shinichi, whose advice sent Chinpy back to his family and dissolved the crew. Some time later Yoro tripped, cracked his head against the corner of a tofu block, and died from the blow. His name riffs on mecha yowa, which translates to insanely weak.
