Mihar

Lean and lanky, Mihar stands tall on thin limbs with narrow shoulders, his skin tanned and his pale blonde hair tucked beneath a broad reddish-brown hat ringed by a yellow band. A tattoo marks his left cheek, and he wears glasses above a bright yellow jacket left hanging open over a low-cut white shirt, its sleeves pushed up to the forearms. Pink shorts, dark boots, yellow gloves, and a swirling blue sash complete the look. The anime altered him repeatedly, first giving him a black top hat and brown hair, then later mistakenly adding a beard and longer locks, with none of these versions including his cheek tattoo.

A solitary sort, Mihar would sooner curl up with a book than join the rowdy fun of his shipmates. His distaste for the outdoors is what gave him the Indoor label. Underneath the reclusive habits lies real generosity, since he had once chosen teaching as a way to reach children shut out of an education.

Mihar fights with a rifle and is counted among the strongest in the crew despite a frame that suggests otherwise. Alongside Deuce and Skull, he forms the strategic core of the Spade Pirates, planning and carrying out their schemes. After a teaching career, he sailed with Ace as the young captain built his reputation, helping fend off bounty hunters and shielding Deuce from an ambush. He deeply respected Ace, who backed his dream of educating children, and admired Masked Deuce for never mocking his writing. When the crew clashed with Whitebeard and lost, Mihar joined the Whitebeard Pirates with the rest and has not been seen since.
