Needless is a non-canon pirate who serves as Gasparde's right-hand man and ranks as the second strongest of the Gasparde Pirates. Armed with extending claws and worth 57,000,000 berries, he is the secondary villain of the fourth film.
Standing tall and heavily built, Needless has cropped blonde hair over pale skin. Inked across each bicep are black wavy patterns, while his face bears a tattoo of crossed dark-green sabers set against black gull wings and a hooked cross. His outfit runs to a black sleeveless top and matching trousers, a pair of gold earrings in each ear, and holsters at his hips for the clawed weapons he favors.
For the most part Needless keeps quiet, saying little and falling especially silent whenever Gasparde is near, yet he turns ruthless in a fight, even casually discarding a crewmate judged worthless. He shows a thread of courtesy toward outsiders, backing off Luffy's straw hat when told to leave it be. Pressure cracks that calm exterior: cornered or losing, he grows talkative, taunting, and bitter. Tellingly, he holds his own captain in contempt, ignoring orders to spare their ship and declaring that killing Gasparde was a privilege he reserved for himself.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

When I first decided to commit to watching One Piece seriously, I knew I was embarking on one of anime's longest and most beloved series. With over 100...
As Gasparde's second and one of the crew's two principal fighters, Needless trails only his captain in raw power. His strength lets him crush a dismissed crewman's shoulder and hurl the man over a balcony, and stop a ship's paddle with a single hand. He pairs this with notable speed and stamina, fighting on even after his arm popped out of joint. His chosen tools are a pair of sharp, extendable hooked claws kept holstered at his waist, which he closes on enemies at speed for a killing strike.
During the Dead End Race he fought Shuraiya Bascud, who had come to claim Gasparde's bounty. The long bout ended with Needless's right arm dislocated and one claw jammed in the Salamander's paddle wheel before Shuraiya knocked him into the sea.
